Sign. KFUO (The Gospel Voice)
This is a clear acrylic sign (35” x 5”) inscribed with: “THE GOSPEL VOICE” in blue.
Sing. KFUO ("Walther A. Maier")
This is a green mattboard sign (5¾” x 1¼”) with black lettering: “WALTER A. MAIER”.
Speaker. KFUO (Broadcast)
This is a speaker in a wooden case (7¾” x 4¾” x 5¼”) used by an announcer to hear when cueing up a record for broadcast. This has a manufacturer’s label: “Amplicall | The Rauland Corp.” and embossed plastic labels “CUE LINE MON,” “OFF,” and “ON” on the front. The front panel has 7 horizontal and 1 vertical slot cut into it, and a toggle switch. On the back there are 5 horizontal slots and two screw terminals.
Speaker. KFUO (Magnavox), 1940
This is a Magnavox speaker (9" diameter) perhaps used in the 1940s after replacing the telemegaphone. The speaker sits on a curved wooden base, stenciled on the top with: “COMPARISON STANDARD | FOR FACTORY USE ONLY”.
Speaker. KFUO (Quam Radio)
This is a circular speaker (13” diameter) on a rectangular base. It is dark brown metal with gold cloth-covered insert on front. A metal plate is inscribed with “QUAM RADIO CORP.” on the back and has a small plastic-covered wire extending out the back.
Tables. KFUO
(MAY 2013 #2 M128 and MAY 2013 #2 M129) These are two identical dark wooden tables with roughly rectangular tops, carved aprons, curved legs with ornamental carvings, and diagonal support pieces for the legs topped by a finial. The wood is scuffed and marred, about 32” x 21” x 29”.

This is a black desktop dial telephone, with a wire that has a 5-prong plug. The center of the dial has the note: “FOR SOUND EFFECTS USE ONLY”.
Telephone. KFUO (Federal Telephone and Radio)
This is a wall-mounted crank telephone in a black metal box (5¾” x 9” x 5”) with a black metal crank on the right side and “Federal Telephone and Radio Corporation | MADE IN USA” embossed on the front. A newer label states: “KFUO | Supr. Pr. Ckt-407”. This has a black handset attached on the left side that sits across the top. This is possibly a studio phone used for internal communications. It is similar to a phone seen in a photo of Walter A. Maier.
