Hilbert (George) Riemer Mission Collection

Rev. Hilbert (George) Riemer served as a full-time missionary with the Korea Lutheran Mission and the Lutheran Church in Korea (LCK)for 43 years, from 1961-2004. His missionary duties included extensive involvement with administrative assistance to the President of the LCK and the Director of the Korea Bethel Series, as well as 33 years as an Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) military chaplain. He was also involved in mass communication ministries and theological training with his last 6 years of service in Korea before retirement as the President of the Korean government accredited Luther University Seminary.
