Biographical / Historical
William Heyne was born in September of 1897. He served for many years as the choral director for Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, running both the seminary chorus and the Lutheran Hour chorus. He also founded the Saint Louis Bach Society and the Bach Festival Chorus in 1941. He died on 26 March 1992.
