The collection consists reports and correspondence dealing mainly with the Emergency Planning Council, obtaining permission from President Truman for a Lutheran group to tour post-war Europe, and other correspondence with Lawrence B. "Lorry" Meyer regarding synodical matters.

This collection contains travel documents and participant lists for the Iowa District West Walther League trips to the International Conventions of 1952-1955. There are a few items relating Mr. Mack's involvement with the Lutheran Laymen's League including name badges and also, his accomplishments as a corn grower and pilot.
