Biographical / Historical
Pastor Gross was born 21 October 1904 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Pastor Henry and Catherine (nee Michael) Gross. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, in 1930 and served parishes in Canon City, Salida, Cripple Creek, LaJunta, Rocky Ford and Hudson, Colorado; Reesville, Wisconsin; and Red Bud, Illinois. He died 9 May 1991 at Colorado Springs, Colorado.
