(JUN 2023 #4 M1) This is 2" diameter silver-tone medal. The obverse is centered with a tree split into two trunks. The inner legend (black) reads: "MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY FAITH". The outer legend (purple) reads: "ENGLISH DISTRICT | LUTHERAN CHURCH | MISSOURI SYNOD". The reverse is centered with a red-line heart around a cross. The outer legend (raised relief) reads: "Love the Lord your God with all you heart, soul, and mind".
