Stamp collections

The collection contains correspondence, memorabilia, slides, and printed materials relating to reformation philatelics (stamp collecting) and numismatics (coins and medals).

This collection contains two scrapbooks detailing many of the people and locations served by Lawrence and Lenchen Meyer during their missionary service in China. Also included are the Meyers' passports, some loose photos, a small chinese postal stamp collection, some newspaper clippings, and the Commanders Cross of the Order of Merit for the German Federal Republic given to Lawrence Meyer.

This collection includes hundreds of cancelled stamps. They do not seem to be collected on the basis of particular subject or content, but rather they are simply all the stamps that have been attained though a lifetime of written communication. The stamps are from multiple countries around the world including the United States.
