(OCT 2018 #20 M1) This is an elaborate beaded neckless which according to the donor was worn by leaders on special occasions. The beads are of 9 difference colors. The interior diameter of the necklace is 7". There are nine strands hanging down the front, each 28" long or more. It appears to be mounted on leather and hand-sewn. It is believed to be an example of an Enkarewa wedding necklace used among the Maasai people.
