The collection contains correspondence, reports, council minutes, proposals, clippings, maps, newsletters, historical information, addresses, and photographs from the New Guinea Mission. There are specific files regarding Martin Luther Seminary and Papua New Guinea Synodical conferences.

The collection contains mostly files concerning the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nigeria, including addresses, reports, sermons, correspondence, books, bulletins, legal documents, financial records, board minutes, and photographs. There is also school and teaching materials, as well as files from the Lutheran Bible Institute. The Yala Translation of the New Testament is also a part of the collection.
