This collection contains minutes of the CHI Board of Governors Minutes, alongwith subcommittees. There are also binders of photos detailing past museum displays. Many of the records for the Lutheran Archivist's and Historian's Conference are also held here. There is a detailed collection of various research efforts undertaken by CHI over the years and the historical receiving records. There are many other boxes about various CHI activities and properties.

The people and the topics range from reminiscences of life at Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in the nineteenth century to discussions of synodical affairs with Dr. J. A. O. This collection holds a wide variety of slides in various forms. Many of the slides record the earlist records in various mission fields. The slides from the India mission field have been digitized.
