A small document entitled, "Vorrede," originally copied in Germany in 1764 and later copied by Schulze in Wooster, Ohio. This is the foreword of Christian Ludwig Taddel from the Mecklenburgisches Kirchen-Gesangbuch, Rostock, 1764. A German transcription and English translation by Olaf Six is included. There is also some background material on the hymnal and on Taddel.

AUG 2017 #17 M1: This medal (3" diameter) commemorates the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The obverse shows busts of Martin Luther and Elector Frederick the Wise on either side. Together they are lifting a basket off of a lit candle which is emerging from a Bible with the following two references: "John 1:1-14" and "Romans 1:16-17".
