Biographical / Historical
Martin Franzmann was born on 29 January in Lake City, Minnesota. He attended the seminary in Thiensville, graduating in 1936. From 1946 to 1969 he taught Biblical theology at Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis). And in 1950 he became the vice-chair of the Committee on Doctrinal Unity. Franzmann died on 28 March 1976.
