Biographical / Historical
Samuel I. Goltermann was born in 1926. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis in 1948, and served two congregations in Kentucky before joining the faculty at Concordia College in Austin Texas. He served as President of Concordia, Austin from 1960-1963, and was assistant executive secretary for the Synod's Board for Higher Education from 1963-1975. He served Trinity Lutheran Church in Saint Louis from 1975 until his retirement in 1993. He died 24 April 2004.
