Biographical / Historical
The first service of this congregation was held on September 20, 1992 at Union Street School and was received into LCMS membership on November 28, 1993. A team of laypersons led the congregation until Rev. Warren Paulson served as vacancy pastor beginning in March 1, 1995. Rev. Douglas A. Dewitt was installed as the first pastor on August 30, 1998. Rev. Dewitt was called as a candidate from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The closing service for this congregation took place on February 20, 2000.
