Biographical / Historical
Theodore DeLaney was born on 22 December 1919. He attended Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) becoming a Missionary-at-Large for the Barstow, California area from 1945 to 1947. For the next twenty years he worked as a Missionary to the Deaf. In 1967 he became the executive secretary for the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod Commission on Worship. He also served as a representative to the Inter-Lutheran Commission on Worship. DeLaney died on 20 January 1987.
