Scope and Contents
The collection contains two notebooks with notes on biblical hermeneutics. Damschroeder is assumed to be the author on the basis of his name found in other books that were part of the donation.

Biographical / Historical
Clarence Damschroeder was born on 29 October 1891. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, in 1912. From 1937 to 1945 he served the English District as a circuit counselor. For the Southern California District he served as the first vice-president (1948 to 1954) and as a circuit counselor (1955 to 1956). He died on 22 November 1984.
