Biographical / Historical
Engel graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, Missouri, in 1899 and was ordained and installed as pastor at Luce, Nebraska, on the Thirteenth Sunday after Trinity in that year. He resigned his call in 1900 because of ill health and died December 31, 1957 at Seattle, Washington.
