Biographical / Historical
Carl Ebert was born on 8 January 1840 in Roderbeck, Germany. He and his family immigrated to America in 1854, and nine years later, he graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis. Ebert served parishes in Stockton, California; Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; Hancock, Michigan; Belle Plain, Wisconsin; Wartland, Wisconsin; Berlin, Wisconsin; and Big Falls, Wisconsin. He died on 23 May 1928.
