Peter John (Johann Peter) Brauer Papers

Brauer was born 21 July 1890 at Beerfelden, Hesse, Germany. He came to the U.S. in 1913 and studied at Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, Illinois. He was ordained on 15 September 1918 in Fedor, Texas. He also served congregations in Lu Verne, Livermore, Algona and Storm Lake, Iowa; and Trosky, Minnesota, until his retirement in November 1956. He died 28 October 1958 in Rochester, Minnesota.
