Biographical / Historical
Carl A. Brauer was born on 1 November 1893. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, in 1918, and served congregations in Chicago and Ann Arbor from 1918 to 1960. He also served on many synodical boards including the Board for Institutional Chaplaincy (1951-64), the District Board of Public Relations (1948-51), as the Circuit Chair, the C.F.C. (1951-51), the B.F.C. (1955), and the Circuit Stewardship (1951-55). Brauer died on 20 February 1974.
