Biographical / Historical

George Bornmann was born on 19 April 1878 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Springfield, in 1899 and was ordained that same year. He was pastor at Saint Paul in Hilton, New York, Saint Paul in Columbia, Pennsylvania, Saint Paul in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Saint John in Round Brook, New Jersey. In 1901 he married Caroline Ulmer and eventually had five sons. He died on 26 June 1943.
