Biographical / Historical

Marion Wolpert was born in Saint Louis in 1922. She served as a billing clerk for Saint Louis News Co. (1942), an Under Inspector for the Civil Service at a war ordnance plant (1942-43), and both an Inspector Minor and Clerk for Amertorp Corporation, a supplier of Naval Ordnance to the US Navy (1943-45). She studied education at Harris College and served in various teaching locations in Saint Louis. She attended Concordia Teachers College (River Forest, Illinois) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1961 and a Mastor of Arts in Education in 1970. She taught at Christ Lutheran School (Saint Louis, Missouri: 1956-1962), the Christian Day School of Saint Luke (Chicago, Illinois: 1962-1972), and Immanuel Lutheran (Albuquerque, New Mexico: 1973-??).
