Biographical / Historical

Trinity Lutheran Church was organized in 1908. It was the first English-speaking Lutheran Church in Dallas. The congregation joined the non-geographic English District of the LCMS. Several other Lutheran congregations were started in Dallas by members of this congregation. The church building was moved from south Dallas to east Dallas in 1961. A Community Center was organized in 1980 to provide after school care and social services to the community. This congregation closed in 2006.
