Biographical / Historical
Theodore Keyl was born in 1875 in (Port Richmond, Staten Island). He attended Concordia College (Fort Wayne), Concordia College (Milwaukee), and Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis), graduating in 1897. He held parishes in (Erie, Pennsylvania: 1899 to 1906), (North Plymouth, Massachusetts: 1906 to 1912), and (Newark, New Jersey: 1915 to 1944). From 1912 to 1915 he ran the Martin Luther Orphanage in Westbury, Massachusetts. He died on 18 July 1949.
