Commission on Worship - Supplement 4

Much of this collection is from the files of Rev. Dr. Fred L. Precht. He served as a member of the LCMS Commission on Worship for 10 years. He became executive director of this commission in 1978, a position he held until his retirement in 1987. During that time, he served as facilitator and editor of "Lutheran Worship", which was published in 1982 and used in churches throughout the LCMS. He was also a former member of the liturgical texts committee and liturgical music committees of the Inter-Lutheran Commission on Worship, being instrumental in the production of "Lutheran Book of Worship", a hymnal used in other Lutheran synods.
