Biographical / Historical
Arlin Alpers was born on 10 March 1928 in Knoke, Iowa. He attended Concordia Academy and Junior College in Saint Paul, Minnesota and graduated from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis in 1953. His first call was as missionary-at-large for the Northern Nebraska District where he was the organizing pastor of Good Shepherd in Fremont. He also served Saint John, Battle Creek, Iowa; Christ, Hutchinson, Kansas; and Saint Peter, Humboldt, Kansas. He retired on 1 April 1993, and died on 25 May 2003.
