Biographical / Historical
Karl (Carl) H. Spannuth graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis, Missouri) in 1887. He married Mathilde Volkening on June 12, 1889 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (Saint Louis, Missouri). He served parishes in Winfield and Wichita, Kansas; Saint Petersburg, Pennsylvania; West Hammond, Illinois; and Defiance, Ohio.
