In the fall 2006, a group of individuals organized for the purpose of extending the presence of the conservative Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. The first worship service was held on April 15, 2007 in Bethany Court Chapel at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. For over a year, the congregation was served by three local LCMS pastors who took turns leading worship services. The charter was presented from the LCMS English District on December 2, 2007. In February 2009, Rev. Robert J. Nemoyer became the regular part-time pastor.
On October 20, 2019, the congregation voted to close as of December 31, 2019.
