Biographical / Historical
Kenneth J. Stumpf was born on January 5, 1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Concordia (Austin, Texas) from 1954 - 1957 and Concordia Senior College (Fort Wayne, Indiana) from 1957 - 1959. He graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis, Missouri) in 1964. He was ordained in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 12, 1964. He served as Assistant Pastor at Memorial Lutheran Church (Ames, Iowa) beginning in August 1964.
