Biographical / Historical

Rev. Robert J. Mueller graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary (Springfield, Illinois) with a Bachelor of Theology Degree (five years of study and one year of pastoral internship). He was pastor in the LCMS congregations in Baker, Louisiana (1965-1969); Newton, Kansas (1969-1972); Marcus, Iowa (1980-1984). He was also a part-time minister of independent Lutheran Church in Newton, Kansas (1972-1975). He served as interim minister for two American Lutheran Churches, Pella and Knoxville, Iowa (1987-1988) and United Church of Ira, Iowa (1988-1989). He was also a chaplain resident at Iowa Methodist Medical Center (Des Moines, Iowa: January 1985 - August 1988). He has authored several papers, two Christmas services, and a Lenten and Easter morning program.
