Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a performance program from The Passion According to Saint Mark by Alfred Fremder, presented by Pro Musica Sacra Chorus and Orchestra on March 19, 1989 at Wyneken Chapel (Concordia Seminary: Saint Louis, Missouri) and a handwritten score of the piece. There is also a handwritten score of The Lutheran Hymnal (TLH) Hymn number 470.

Biographical / Historical

Rev. Dr. Alfred Framder was born on March 14, 1920 and died on April 19, 2006 in Garland, Texas. He was called as Associate Professor of Practical Theology in February 1979, serving almost all of his minnistry at Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis, Missouri). He retired in 1991.
