Biographical / Historical
New Life's first worship service took place on February 27, 2000 at Lakes Preschool. As worship attendance grew, services were moved to Regal Cinemas. New Life was recognized as an official member of the LCMS on June 3, 2000 at the Florida-Georgia District Convention. Rev. Paul hasselbring was installed as the first pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran CHurch, New Life's mother church, on August 20, 2000. Pastor Hasselbring left in 2002 Another pastor was called, and the congregation dedicated their own building on March 9, 2008. The congregation closed in 2011.
