Biographical / Historical
A group of German Lutherans living in Linn Township, Woodford County, Illinois who had been ministered to by Pastor Buszin of Secor, decided in a special meeting in October 1871 to organize a congregation. In April 1872, Trinity joined the Missouri Synod. Three acres of donated land were recorded as property of the congregation. One half acre was set aside for cemetery use. A teacherage or pasronage was built in 1873 to which a room was added the next year. In September 1874, a call was extended to Pastor Carl Weber of Golberts, Pennsylvania. The congregation closed in 2014.
