Biographical / Historical
Martin Karl "Conrad" Vetter, son of Conrad Vetter, was born 16 June 1871 in Honey Creek, Missouri. He graduated from Saint Paul College in Concordia, Missouri in 1891, and from Concordia Theological Seminary (Springfield, Illinois) in 1894. Vetter served congregations in Farley, Missouri; Junction City, Kansas; and Alva, Oklahoma before serving at Lutheran Orphans Home in Addison, Illinois. He retired in 1943, and died 23 January, 1966.
