Biographical / Historical
Gerhard Luecke was a Lutheran minister and chaplain in the military. He served parishes in Pittsburgh and York, PA. He was with troops in Germany closely on the heels of the liberation of concentration camps and he was in York, PA during the race riots of that city. A more fully developed biography and family vignettes is included in the collection.
