Biographical / Historical
Paul W. Ludwig, Jr. was born on 11 February 1926 in Hoxie, Kansas. He attended Saint John College in Winfield, Kansas and graduated from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis in 1951. He served as Pastor in Grace Lutheran, Brenham, Texas and Christ Lutheran, Fort Worth, Texas before entering the Military Chaplaincy in 1958. As an Air Force Chaplain, Ludwig served at Air Force Bases in California, Georgia, Texas, and Oklahoma, as well as Canada, Greece, the Philippines, and England. In 1982, he again served as a parish pastor in Lakeland, Florida until his retirement in 1988. Paul Ludwig, Jr. died on 27 March 1994.
