Biographical / Historical
August STELLHORN was born on 2 June 1887 in Red Bud, Illinois. He graduated from the Addison Teachers' College in 1908 and received his Ed.D. from Valparaiso University in 1948. He taught at Red Bud and Indianapolis. He served as the superintendent of schools for the Central District and the secretary of schools for the Missouri Synod. he also served on the Board of Christian Education and the Board for Parish Education. STELLHORN died on 17 May 1964.
