Biographical / Historical
Fred Stein was born on 5 November 1904 in Saint Clair, Missouri. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, in 1929 and served congregations in Missouri, Indiana, and Michigan, and as a chaplain in the Air Force. Stein died on 19 August 1980.
