Slovak Evangelical Lutheran Church Records

The collection can be divided into three categories. The first, and largest, contains synodical, district, and congregational files. There are minutes and reports from conventions, conferences, board meetings, and lay groups, as well as some unprocessed district files. Congregational statistics, bulletins, and biographical files are also included. The files of presidents Daniel, Rafaj, Kovac, and Ontko compose a section of this group. The second category consists of the note cards and bibliography cards used for a dissertation-history of the SELC. The final category consist entirely of SELC Luther League files. Executive Board minutes, district convention materials and minutes, and membership files are included.
