Biographical / Historical

George Frederick Schreiner was born on 8 January 1888 in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He graduated from Addison Teacher's College in 1910, and served as teacher of Gethsemane in Detroit, Michigan from 1910-1919; Saint Trinity in Pontiac, Michigan from 1919-1922; and Saint John of Vincennes, Indiana from 1922-1923. He resigned from the teaching ministry in 1923, and returned to the teaching ministry in 1947. He served Trinity in Manistee, Michigan from 1947-1948; Trinity in Ionia, Michigan from 1948-1949, and Tabor in Detroit, Michigan from 1949 until his death in 1950.
