Biographical / Historical
G. A. Claus, pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, began church-work at the mission in 1863. He served as its pastor until it was organized in 1872. Saint Paul joined the synod in 1874.
Saint Paul is located at John and West Florissant Avenues in Saint Louis. The area is known as being in the College Hill neighborhood.
