Biographical / Historical

Saint John Lutheran Church was organized in 1878 by the Reverend August Dankworth. They joined the Synod as a member of the Central District the following year. Saint John had a parochial school, which opened the same year it was organized. In 1963, the Central District was split between Indiana and Ohio, of which Saint John became a member of the latter.

Saint John Lutheran Church closed in 1985.
