Biographical / Historical

Victor Martin Roth was born on 15 May 1922 near Lexington, Nebraska. He was in the Army during World War 2, and later went to Concordia Theological Seminary (Springfield, Illinois). He graduated from the Seminary in 1953, and called to serve a triple-parish in Roseau and Warroad, Minnesota and Sprague, Manitoba, Canada. He then accepted a call to Waterville, Minnesota, and later to Mankato, Minnesota. He retired in 1987. During his ministry, Roth served on the Board of Regents at Concordia College (Saint Paul, Minnesota) and as Director and Manager of Camp Omega in Minnesota.
