Biographical / Historical
Ernst Rolf was born 20 June 1837 in Ohnsbrueck, Hannover, Germany. He immigrated to the United States with his father in 1850, and graduated from the Seminary in Fort Wayne in 1858. He was ordained in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, 25 April 1858, and served congregations in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Minnesota. He died on 20 August 1900 in Hollywood, Minnesota.
