Pastor Pullmann graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, Illinois, in 1911. He served as a missionary to German-speaking farmers in the Badlands of South Dakota, then at parishes in Fairfax, South Dakota; Wausa, Nebraska; Hunter, Kansas; Gurley, Nebraska; and Friona, Texas.
