Biographical / Historical
Arthur Piekorn was born on 21 June 1907 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in 1928. He served congregations in Saint Louis; Chisholm, Minnesota; and Cleveland, Ohio, and as a chaplain in the Army from 1940 to 1967. He taught at Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) from 1951 until his death on 13 December 1973.
