Biographical / Historical
Gerhard A. Pera was born on 14 January 1930 in Petersville, North Dakota. After completing his studies at Concordia College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pera enrolled at Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis. He was ordained in 1954 in Bateman, Saskatchewan. He served several parishes in Saskatchewan before moving to Seattle, Washington. He later served as pastor in Missouri and Kansas before his retirement in 1996.
