LCMS. Board for Lutheran Television

Created at the recommendation of the Board of Directors Television Advisory Committee (1950-1951). It was formerly known as Lutheran Television Productions Committee (1951-1956) and as Lutheran Television Productions, Inc./Lutheran Television Productions Board (1956-1969, the two names used interchangeably). Anything relating to "This Is the Life" fell under this board until 1976 when the International Lutheran Laymen's League took responsibility for the program.
