Biographical / Historical
Frederic Niedner was born on 8 July 1887 in Fredericktown, Missouri. He graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in 1910. He served congregations in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota; Atchinson, Kansas; and Saint Charles, Missouri. From 1920 to 1940 he served on the Board of Electors for Saint Paul College (Concordia, Missouri). He was the chair of the General Church Extension Board from 1926 to 1950. From 1931 to 1942 he was on the Western District's Mission Board. From 1950 to 1967 he served on the Board of Control for Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis). He died on 13 November 1974.
