Biographical / Historical
Louis Lange was born on 29 September 1829 in Zennern, Kreisfritzer in Kurhesse, Germany. He was the publisher of both "Die Abendschule" and "Die Rundschau". He died on 25 September 1893.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Most of the material was received in June 1983 from Anna Lange. A file of correspondence and personal papers was donated by Richard Jungkuntz in June 1990. The Lange Family Bible was donated in March 2019.
