Biographical / Historical
Ernst Lange was born on 19 September 1901 in Westcliffe, Colorado. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis in 1925. He held parishes in Carthage (1925 to 1926) and Saint Louis (1926 to 1944), Missouri, Elmhurst (1944 to 1960), Illinois, and Ute (1960 to 1970), Iowa. He also served as the secretary for the Western District (1933 to 1939) and as counselor to the Iowa District West (1961 to 1963). He died on 16 November 1977.
